carefree days? When?
Jesus shows us a way to calm and trust:
We can learn to focus our attention on the unexpected
and gifts. We can learn to live gratefully.
From this we can gradually be able to leave troubles.

Gospel of Matthew 6, 24-34

24 No man can serve two masters. For either he will hate and those that love, or he will abide by those terms and this disdain. You can not serve God and mammon. 25 Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what ye shall eat, nor about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap, nor gather into barns - your heavenly Father feeds them. Be not more valuable than they? 27 Who of you by worrying can his life only add one cubit?
28 And what makes her about clothing? Learn from the lilies of the field, how they grow: they toil not, are not crazy, 29 I tell you, but even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of them. 30 If God but the grass of the field today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, clothes, how much more you, O ye of little faith! 31 Be anxious not and says, 'What shall we eat? Or What shall we drink? Or: What will we wear? 32 For all this to take care of the Gentiles. Your heavenly Father knows that is that you need them all. 33 rather seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, then you will all be added. 34 not Be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow is for themselves provide. Each day has enough on its own load.

just keep thinking ...
You can not serve God and Mammon ...
The Aramaic word Mamona - asset holding - is associated with the word aman - of what gets familiar . The Greek word "serve" (douleuein) reinforces the kind of commitment yet: It's about the attitude that makes someone completely dependent.

What I am (very) dependent?
What do I trust?
What hindered my connectedness with God?

not Be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough on its own load.
signal Calendar: advance planning is absolutely necessary. Insurance let us know: Providing for the future is essential. Banks want to convince us to buy securities.
Jesus offers a different approach to life: now live! Being in the present.

How am I able to live in the present and in the present?
How can I connect prepare for the future and serenity?
What life care currently takes me much in possession? was not even Solomon in all his glory is not arrayed like one:

Learn from the lilies of the field, how they grow: they toil not, neither do they spin, yet I tell you of them.
flowers of the field grow without our help.
life happens unplanned and unexpected.
The mindfulness of the unplanned and unexpected - to put it in wonder and gratitude - can help us going concern - to - Lassen.

the Eucharist might be a place where we can be free from the attitude of gratitude, worry let go.
will my money?
can I have enough?
I am enough?
